What We Do

TSMI is responsible for the maintenance of the Anthony Henday Ring Road from highway 14 on the East side of Edmonton to highway 16 (Yellowhead) on the West side of Edmonton.

TSMI was established in 1995 to bid on Alberta Transportation highway maintenance contracts. We successfully teamed with Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation (currently INFTRA), transitioning through the era of the Province of Alberta itself operating the maintenance contracts, to the new era of tendering them out to private contractors in the CMAs (contract maintenance areas). TSMI was successful as one of the first to obtain a maintenance contract, and ultimately became successful over the next 10 years in maintaining up to 5 CMAs.

In 2004, TSMI began the process of pursuing the first P3 (Public-Private Partnership) contract for the first ever 30 year highway maintenance contract in Alberta.

On October 23, 2007 TSMI began a 30 year highway maintenance contract for approximately 60 percent of the Anthony Henday Ring Road around Edmonton.

TSMI is part of a large company, but is run like a family business, with attention paid to it’s employees, and providing outstanding service to it’s clients.
